An independent WEEE consultant is a specialist environmental compliance advisor who represents the commercial and operational interests of electronics producers, importers, and recyclers. Unlike commercial compliance schemes, an independent consultant has zero financial incentive to enrol you in expensive memberships, focusing instead on statutory exemptions, SKU net-weight deductions, and £30 direct Environment Agency registrations.
Under Regulation 15 and Regulation 16 of the UK WEEE Regulations 2013, businesses placing less than 5,000 kg (5.0 tonnes) of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) onto the UK market annually are classified as Small Producers.
